What Pingpile reads
When you sign in with Google, Pingpile asks for your email address and read-only
access to Google Search Console (webmasters.readonly). It reads the list of your
Search Console properties and the sitemaps submitted for them. It cannot change anything in
Search Console.
What Pingpile stores
- Your email address and Google account id, to sign you in.
- Your Search Console properties and sitemaps, the URLs listed in those sitemaps, and the results of checking them (status codes, response times, counts).
- Google's access and refresh tokens, encrypted, used only to read Search Console on your behalf. They are never shown, logged or shared.
- If you connect an app such as an AI assistant (under Connected apps): the app's name, where it sends access, and its tokens, stored only as hashes in Cloudflare's key-value store.
Connected apps
An app you connect and approve can read what you see in Pingpile, including the sites and sitemaps that come from Search Console, and change what you can change there. Pingpile sends it that data only when the app asks, only for your account, and only while it is connected. It never gets your Google tokens. What the app does with the data is up to the app and its own terms. Disconnect it any time under Connected apps.
For its own statistics Pingpile counts page views per day, page and referring website. It uses no cookies for this and stores no IP addresses, user agents or user ids with those counts.
Pingpile fetches your public sites and sitemaps the way any visitor would. Uptime checks are kept for 90 days and sitemap counts for 400 days.
What Pingpile does not do
No selling, sharing or advertising use of any data, and no use of Google user data to develop or train AI models. Pingpile's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Processors
Pingpile runs on Cloudflare (hosting, with the database stored in the EU) and sends alert and login emails through Resend.
Your control
Connected apps lists every app you approved; disconnecting one ends its access at once.
Disconnect Google in Pingpile revokes the access at Google and deletes the stored tokens; you can also revoke it at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Delete my account under Settings deletes your account and your data at once: your personal workspace and any workspace you own alone, with their sites and history; it revokes Pingpile's access to your Google accounts and disconnects your apps.
